Toddler: 8-24 months
The debut class for the new learners is designed to emphasis on developing the bond between the child and care giver. This is achieved through various one on one activities conducted both in structured and unstructured environment .This unfolds in developing social skills for these first timers and helps to engage and get acquainted to their peer and preschool setup .
Although we have planned activities in the Toddlers class, the routine is much more flexible and works in partnership with parents ensuring consistency of care is provided at nursery in the same application and routine followed at home. We value and respect ,parents as their children’s first teachers. That’s why we encourage teachers to partner with parents in learning everything they can about infants and toddlers in order for caregivers to understand their needs and plan for their development. As a result, our programs create a strong three-way bond between child, parent, and caregiver.
The Toddler’s year program includes a wide variety of experiences, opportunities and activities to promote various domain of development. The form room teacher takes regular observations of each child’s achievements, enabling them to form plans based on their individual likes and dislikes. Each record is registered in their individual year Profile Record Book . Children have the opportunity to go around our school play areas, offering them varied experiences in their local environment that helps them understand their surroundings.
